Week of Monday, June 4th
6th grade classes: A Day students: On Monday, students will learn about the culture in ASL and letters A through Z. On Wednesday, they will learn about greetings and numbers. On Friday, June 8th, they will have their cultural food day. B day students: On Tuesday, students will learn about numbers and colors. On Thursday, students will play Jeopardy. On Monday of the following week, students will take the ASL test. On Wednesday of the final week, (June 13th) they will have their cultural food day. 7th & 8th grade Conversational Spanish: Students will play Jeopardy on Monday and take the unit 6 test on Tuesday. Students will then learn about tener expressions this week. Next Monday, students will review for the final, have the cultural food day on Tuesday, and take the final on Wednesday. 8th grade Yearlong: Students will be presenting their chore slides today. They will learn about “estar” locations as well. We will practice creating sentences using parecer and tocar this week. On Thursday, students will practice for the final. On Friday, they will take the written portion of the final. The following Monday, students will take the reading and listening portion of the final. Cultural food day will be the following Wednesday. Keep studying all terms from all chapters for the final exam which will be on Friday, June 8th. Week of Tuesday, My 29th
6th grade classes: A Day students: On Tuesday, we will go over Arabic culture and learn about Ramadan & Eid. On Thursday, we will take our Arabic test. B day students: On Wednesday and Friday, we will learn American Sign Language. We will focus on the culture behind it, the alphabet and numbers this week. 6th grade classes: A Day students: Monday we will learn about Arabic colors and on Wednesday we will focus on Arabic culture. 6th grade classes: Last week, we learned about culture before numbers because M-STEP took a bit longer to complete for the class. This week, B day will be learning about culture. A day will learn about days and months on Tuesday. On Wednesday, B day will learn about numbers. Thursday will focus on days and months with A day. B day will then learn about colors on Friday. 6th grade classes: A day will learn about family and body on Monday. They will work on a Google Slide project at the end of class. This will be due one week from today.
