6th Grade Exploring Languages: B day had one day of learning German family body vocabulary last week. This means that they will play Jeopardy on Monday and have their Test on Wednesday, October 16th. I will collect completed German packets on the day of the test. The bottom of page 5 will be empty. Their German & family projects posted on Google Classroom are still due today, Monday, October 14th. I printed instructions for any students who did not have computer access or were having trouble with technology at home. A day will learn about German culture on Tuesday. I explained their German family and body vocabulary projects last Friday instead because it was a half day. On Thursday, they will play Jeopardy. Their projects are due on Thursday as well. The following Monday, October 21st will be their German test. I will collect packets then. Study using Quizlet.com. Remember to study culture in the German packets as well.

7th & 8th Grade Conversational Spanish classes:  Students will continue learning about animals this week. We will also learn to create singular and plural sentences using grammar rules in Spanish. Notes will be written in class and posted on Google Classroom. The unit 2 test is scheduled for Friday, October 18th. These concepts can be studied on Quizlet.com using 2.1, 2.2 & 2.3 flashcards. “Learn” is a great activity to use on Quizlet.com. Students will have a variety of practice activities with partners, group work, & grammar activities.

8th grade Yearlong:  The next quiz (focusing on ser, using negatives, accents, tildes & punctuation) is scheduled for Wednesday, October 16th. Ch. 1 Grammar 2 notes in student notebooks should be studied. These notes are also posted on Google Classroom if they are lost. Two quizlet sets that can be studied are Ch. 1 Subject Pronouns & Ch. 1 Subject Pronouns with verbs. Remind.com messages are sent out about upcoming quizzes. If you do not receive a message about a quiz or test by text or email, please email me at jedrzem@dearbornschools.org. Use notes & Quizlet.com to study material at home. We will complete writing activities, partner speaking activities & a chapter review to prepare for the chapter 1 test. Gracias 🙂
