Monday, December 10th

6th grade classes: A Day will meet on Monday, Wednesday & Friday of this week. They will learn about culture on Monday, play Jeopardy on Monday to review for the test scheduled for Friday, December 14th. Packets will be completed and turned in on this day. Study concepts daily using Quizlet.com. B day will meet on Tuesday and Thursday of this week. They will complete the Arabic test on Thursday. I will collect completed packets this day. On Friday, we will begin American Sign Language. Check planner for daily assignment completion and (if applicable) change of plans. Check Parent Connect to see if students have been completing homework and participating.

7th & 8th grade Conversational Spanish: Students will be out on a field trip on Monday. On Tuesday, they will play Jeopardy to review for the unit 5 test scheduled for Wednesday, December 12th.  Students should be studying 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 & 5.4 on Quizlet.com. We will then begin unit 6 on Thursday and focus on stating the date while learning months and asking about birthdays. When there is homework, it will always be posted on Google Classroom on a daily basis. Check planner daily! Check Parent Connect to see if students have been completing homework.

8th grade Yearlong: Students will begin chapter 3 this week. The will focus on culture on Monday and Tuesday. Then they will be learning ch. 3 vocab 1 terms which focus on verbs. On Friday, they will have their culture quiz. We will plan on having a midterm that will cover chapters 1-3 (half of 3) for the middle of January. Please make sure that students are reviewing previous vocabulary terms and grammar concepts. Use Quizlet.com as a study tool. Check planner and Google Classroom daily for homework assignments as well as Parent Connect. Muchas gracias 🙂
