Week of Mon., Nov. 19th (2 days) and Mon., Nov. 26th (5 days)

6th grade classes: A Day will meet on Tuesday of this week. They will have their French test today. They will meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday the following week after break. They will learn about Arabic greetings, numbers & days/months. Pages 1-3 should be complete by the end of the that week. Study concepts daily using Quizlet.com. B day will meet on Tuesday of this week. We will learn about Arabic numbers. Students will meet the following Tuesday and Thursday. They will learn about Arabic days & months and colors. Check planner for daily assignment completion and (if applicable) change of plans. Check Parent Connect to see if students have been completing homework and participating.

7th & 8th grade Conversational Spanish: Students will play Jeopardy on Monday and have the test on Tuesday. On the following week, we will learn about likes/dislikes, seasons & culture. Students will be studying 5.1, 5.2, & 5.3 on Quizlet.com. When there is homework, it will always be posted on Google Classroom on a daily basis. Check planner daily! Check Parent Connect to see if students have been completing homework.

8th grade Yearlong: Students will review vocabulary on singular and plural uses of gustar with adjectives this week. They will also focus on the word “the” (el, la, los, las). We will learn about the “gustar, porque, por que, and the preposition ‘de'” the following week. The quiz will follow the week after on a Tuesday and the chapter 2 test will be soon after. Use Quizlet.com (Ch. 2 Vocab 2) as a study tool. Check planner and Google Classroom daily for homework assignments as well as Parent Connect. Muchas gracias 🙂
