Week of Monday, October 29th
6th grade classes: B Day will meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of this week. They will learn about French greetings, numbers & days & months. Pages 1-3 should be done by the end of the week for homework. Study concepts daily using Quizlet.com. A day will meet on Tuesday and Thursday of this week. Students will learn about French days, months & colors this week. Check planner for daily assignment completion and (if applicable) change of plans. Check Parent Connect to see if students have been completing homework and participating. I am still missing some German projects from last week. Please make sure that all students have completed these projects because they are a summative grade.
7th & 8th grade Conversational Spanish: Students will have their unit 3 assessment this Friday, November 2nd. We will review the use of “ir” through a variety of activities this week. Jeopardy will be played on Thursday to review for the test. We will also learn about the “Day of the Dead” on Wednesday. Use Quizlet.com to study vocabulary. When there is homework, it will always be posted on Google Classroom on a daily basis. Check planner daily! Check Parent Connect to see if students have been completing homework.
8th grade Yearlong: Students will have their Ch. 2 Vocab 1 quiz this Friday, November 2nd. We will be learning about grammar concepts with the verb “ser” this week. We will also learn about the “Day of the Dead” on Wednesday. Use Quizlet.com as a study tool. Check planner and Google Classroom daily for homework assignments as well as Parent Connect.
