Week of Monday, October 1st
6th grade classes: A Day will meet on Tuesday and Thursday of this week. They will be learning about German numbers on Tuesday and German days and months on Thursday. Study concepts daily using Quizlet.com. Pages 1-3 should be complete by the end of the week. B day will meet on Monday, Wednesday & Friday of this week. They will learn about German culture on Monday, German greetings on Wednesday, and German numbers on Friday. Pages 1, 2, top of 5, top of 6 and 7 should be complete by the end of the week. Check planner for daily assignment completion and (if applicable) change of plans. Check Parent Connect to see if students have been completing homework and participating. Students with a C- or below will be receiving a progress report soon.
7th & 8th grade Conversational Spanish: Students have completed all notes that they need to study for the unit 1 test which will be scheduled for this Thursday, October 4th. We will review Spanish classroom objects, the use of articles when making a noun singular or plural, and Spanish question phrases this week. Students will also be memorizing questions to present in front of the class. Use Quizlet.com to study vocabulary. When there is homework, it will always be posted on Google Classroom on a daily basis. Check planner daily! Check Parent Connect to see if students have been completing homework. 8th grade Yearlong: The quiz on Spanish numbers, days, months & alphabet is this Tuesday, October 2nd. Please make sure they study their own notes, compare their notes on Google classroom, look over bell work, preview the pages on Google classroom, and use Quizlet.com as a study tool. We will review concepts today and begin learning about Spanish verbs and punctuation this week. Chapter 1 Grammar 2 notes will be taken this week. The Chapter 1 Summative Test will be coming up soon.
