6th grade classes completed the Arabic unit by handing in packets and taking the Arabic assessment. Certain students will retake the assessment today during lunch. Please make sure to have all supplies (folder, thin dry erase marker, pencil, red pen, planner, and Arabic packet). We started American Sign Language this week focusing on culture, greetings, and the alphabet. The packet can be found on my blog or Google Classroom. We will learn about numbers, days, months, and colors next week. The assessment will be the last week of school. Cultural food day will be either on Wednesday or Thursday (the last week of school). Please discuss with your child what he/she would like to bring in.

7th & 8th grade conversational Spanish classes: Students have been learning about weather, likes/dislikes, and liking an object using the word, “it.” They completed the unit 5 listening, reading & writing assessment. Please make sure to have your supplies: pencil, red pen, folder, 2 notebooks, thin dry erase marker and planner. We started to learn about stating the date and months in class today.

8th yearlong Spanish classes completed their final exams this week. We will continue to research information on countries, people & current events next week. Students will also continue to record skits to practice their conversational skills next week.
