Week of Monday, October 28th

6th Grade Exploring Languages: B day will learn about French colors on Monday. Homework will be to complete page 4. They will learn about French family and body on Wednesday. A “Google Slides” project will be assigned. On Friday, they will learn about French culture. A day will learn about French days & months on Tuesday. Homework will be to complete page 3. They will learn about French colors on Thursday. Homework will be to complete page 4. Study using Quizlet.com for our French unit.

7th & 8th Grade Conversational Spanish classes:  Students will use the verb “ir” within sentence structure in a variety of class activities. Notes will be written in class and posted on Google Classroom. These concepts can be studied on Quizlet.com using 3.1, 3.2 & 3.3 flashcards. “Learn” is a great activity to use on Quizlet.com. Students will have a variety of practice activities with partners, group work, & grammar activities. We will learn about the Day of the Dead this week as well. Students will have their unit 3 test the following week.

8th grade Yearlong: Students will take a quiz on Puerto Rico on Tuesday, October 29th. Remind.com messages are sent out about upcoming assessments. If you do not receive a message about a quiz or test by text or email, please email me at jedrzem@dearbornschools.org. Use notes & Quizlet.com to study material at home. We will creating Google Slides using vocabulary from: chapter 2 vocab 1 notes. We will also learn how to ask about age in Spanish this week. At the end of this week, students will learn about the Day of the Dead. Use Quizlet.com to study.
