Week of Tuesday, January 16th

6th grade classes: Students will be learning American Sign Language days and months on Tuesday. On Wednesday and Thursday, students will learn ASL colors. On Friday, students will play Jeopardy to review for the test. The American Sign Language test will be on Monday the 22nd and Tuesday the 23rd for A and B day classes. Cultural food day will follow on Wednesday and Thursday (A & B day). Students will only need to know 1-10 for the test. Make sure the ASL packet is complete for the day of the test. I have been doing homework checks the past week. Continue to study Quizlet.com for all terms we have been learning in class.

7th & 8th grade Conversational Spanish: Students will be creating slides, working with partners to create a conversation using Screencastify, playing Jeopardy, and completing the unit 6 test this week. Study the unit 6 notes, practice on Quizlet.com and make sure you are completing all your homework. Gracias 🙂

8th grade Yearlong: Students will create a project with accumulative information we have learned thus far. They will be learning about grammar using “gustar” and a verb. Homework will be assigned on Google Classroom. On Friday, there will be a Ch. 3 Vocab 1 quiz. Students will also learn about Carmen Garza’s paintings. On Make sure to check Google Classroom for any homework assignments. Please continue to be studying the notes. Check Parent Connect/Student Connect for grades.
