Week of Monday, December 4th

This week…

6th grade classes: The previous week, students started the Arabic unit. We learned about greetings on Monday and Tuesday, culture on Wednesday and Thursday. They started numbers on Friday. A day will continue to learn about numbers on Monday of this week. We will then learn about days of the week on Tuesday and Wednesday. On Thursday and Friday, students will learn about colors. Homework that should be completed are pages 1-4 by the end of the week. Page 5 (the top) would have been completed the previous week. Any cultural information can be found in Google Classroom if a student were absent. Continue to study Quizlet.com for all terms we have been learning in class.

7th & 8th grade Conversational Spanish: Students will begin unit 5 this week. They will learn about seasons, weather & culture. Assignments will be posted on Google Classroom. On Friday, they will begin learning about gustar (to like). Use Quizlet to study each day. Unit 5.1, 5.2 and 5.3 will be our study sets this week.  Please check Parent Connect to see if your child is missing any assignments.

8th grade Yearlong: Students will review definite articles (el, la, los, las) on Monday. They will then learn about “gustar” and “porque.” The preposition “de” will be taught on Friday. Notes will be posted on Google Classroom. Please continue to be studying the notes. A variety of activities and homework assignments will be posted on Google Classroom this week. Please check Parent Connect / Student Connect for grades.
