Friday, January 13th
6th grade: Students learned about letters, greetings and numbers this week. Some students remembered to come in and retake their Arabic assessments today during lunch. We will learn about days, months, and color in ASL this week. Student will have their test and cultural food day the following week. Please think about a German, Spanish, French, or Arabic dish you would like to bring in and share with the class.
Please make sure you are checking student planners daily to see what is due the following day we meet. Also, make sure you are on quizlet.com the day that we do not meet (since we meet every other day). Quizlet.com will verify that you are continuously studying. If you are not able to do so, please email me at jedrzem@dearbornschools.org to verify the day that you were able to log on.
7th grade & 8th grade Semester Conversational Spanish: Students learned frequency words and conjugated a variety of verbs this week. They completed their unit 6 test today. We will learn tener expressions and how to use tu versus usted the next week. Students will have their final exam the following week. We will also have cultural food day the last week.

8th grade Yearlong: Students completed their chapter 3 vocab 1 quiz and “Mis Amigos y Yo” project today after a week of grammar instruction. Students will learn new verbs focusing mostly on nouns around the school. We will have our grammar 1 quiz next Friday. The midterm will be on January 24th. Cultural food day will follow the day after.
