6th grade: Students have been assigned homework on greetings, numbers, colors, days & months, and colors (pages 1-5). Please make sure all pages are complete. Our first summative assessment will be the following week. We will continue to learn about culture, family & body vocabulary, and play Jeopardy as a review for our upcoming Spanish assessment.

Please make sure you are checking student planners daily to see what is due the following day we meet. Also, make sure you are on quizlet.com the day that we do not meet (since we meet every other day). Quizlet.com will verify that you are continuously studying. If you are not able to do so, please email me at jedrzem@dearbornschools.org to verify the day that you were able to log on.

7th grade & 8th grade Semester Conversational Spanish: Students have taken B.1, B.2, B.3 and B.4 notes in their notebooks. Bell work has been completed in their 2nd notebooks this week as well. We will have a speaking assignment in class on Monday. Students will review with Jeopardy on Tuesday. The assessment will be on Wednesday, September, 28th.

Please make sure that quizlet.com is being completed daily. Check Grade Book to make sure points are being provided. Email me with any concerns. I check quizlet.com every morning to see student study progress.

8th grade Yearlong: Students have completed notes on Geocultura Spain, Chapter 1 Vocab 1,  and Chapter 1 Grammar 1 notes. Any student that brought in a retake form this week was able to retake their quiz on Spain during Friday’s lunch. The Chapter 1 Vocab 1 quiz was given on Friday. Retakes for anyone that scored below 80% will be able to retake the assessment on Friday, September 30th. Forms must be turned in by this Wednesday, September 28th.
