Hello Recorder players! Great news! I have put a new assignment for you on our Google Classroom. Now you can make a video to send to me of you playing your Recorder Karate songs, and it should be super easy to do! Make sure to practice before recording. I would love to get a message from you so if you just want to check it out, record a 5-10 second message telling me how you are doing, say hello to the class and I will let you know that it worked! You should be able to check out videos posted by others in the classroom too!

If you are a 4th grader, in Honors Choir or in Drumming, you can use this time to practice the music on our google classroom. I would love to hear you sing and play your songs so if you want to send me a video, send it to: email@example.com
Please make sure to subscribe to my blog as this will be our primary mode of communication. Have a great day and happy music making!
Attention all students in 4th Grade Recorder Class and Honors Choir Members: Please log in to your student account and accept the invitation to the new google classrooms created for you.
4th Grade Recorders: Video links are included in the course material which will help you learn the fingering, melodies and notes for each song in the Recorder Karate Book. Home practice is essential for your success so practice, practice, practice! You may practice the songs in any order. Once you learn a song keep practicing it so it remains “Fresh” in your mind and under your fingers.
Honors Choir Members: All songs for the musical “A New Day” have been uploaded. You may begin learning the melodies and memorizing lyrics for each songs. There are two tracks for each songs, one with vocals and one without. Use the tracks with vocals until you learn the songs really well then try your hand at singing with the instrumental tracks.
