This week we will learn a new song with sign language called “One Small Voice.” Listen to the song a few times then record you and your family (using Screencastify link) doing the sign language together while the video is playing from 1:57-END. Enjoy two archived DSO performances streamed on Facebook Live tomorrow at 7 PM ET! Jukka-Pekka Saraste conducts a colorful tone poem from fellow Finn Jean Sibelius: Pohjola’s Daughter, inspired by Scandinavian folklore. Then, DSO Principal Cello Wei Yu and Music Director Laureate Leonard Slatkin take on Elgar’s spellbinding Cello Concerto, one of the most famous pieces in the cello repertoire. Wei will even introduce the piece and chat with viewers in the comment section!

Montessori: On Monday April 20 all current Google Classroom for Music will be moving to a new location. Great job to everyone who has been participating and turning in the assignment on the current Google Classrooms.
