MONTESSORI – FUN MUSICAL ACTIVITIES FOR THE WEEK OF MAY 4-8
HAVING TROUBLE LOGGING INTO YOUR STUDENT ACCOUNT?
Montessori Music Students: If you are having trouble logging into your student account, here is what you can do:
Each student must log in using their own student I.D. # and Password (Birthdate).
If you are having a problem logging in with this information, it may be becuase your child has not used the account or has been away from it for a while and it needs to be reset. Parents need to call the parent support line to reset passwords. 313-827-8400
Students MUST be logged in with their school accounts. If you log in with personal emails, parent emails or sibling emails it will not work.
Clever is a button on the Dearborn Schools Student Portal homepage that logs students into multiple applications without them having to log in themselves. Once they click the Clever button, a screen pops up with possible applications to visit. They then choose Google Classroom.
To log into the Google Classroom they can use Clever, or just go to classroom.google.com. Use the Classroom code (K-2 is qkw2tli, Gr 3-5 is eetgr7e) Students click on the + button in Classroom, then type in your join code. They will automatically be enrolled in the correct class. Make sure they are trying to join the K-2 or the 3-5 Music classrooms. If they try their codes on another google classroom, it will not work.
K-5 Fun Music Activities Week of April 27-May 1
COMPLETING MUSIC ASSIGNMENTS ONLINE
Hello students and families!
First of all I would like to tell you that I miss you and I hope that you and your family are well!
As you know we have moved our learning online and
We have a virtual classroom for music that has already started! In your school email you will find the invitation to join the google classroom for music. Waiting for you are some fun music lessons that we will use to grade your participation. Many of you have already found it and completed your work, great job! Please make sure to do the following:
1. Accept the invite in your school email for the Music Google Classroom K-2 or 3-5
2. Complete the assignment for the week of April 20 and be on the lookout for the April 27th assignment (If you completed it, good work!)
3. Subscribe to my blog https://iblog.dearbornschools.org/hardens/ and then accept it in your school email. On my blog you will find some fun activities that you can do at home. These are not marked as participation, but you may find them fun to do when you have some extra time on your hands.4. The district is looking at a new way to hold live class meetings and more information will be passed on through my blog when we get it. Last week we had a meeting for K-2 on Thursday at 3pm and a meeting for 3-5 on Monday at 3pm. We will continue that same schedule if and when a new platform is implemented. Wait for details.
We want you to have fun and relax as you learn to do online work. For families with more than one child, please make sure that each child is logged into their own email and account when they attempt to do their work. It solves alot of problems that you might run into otherwise. I hope you enjoy the lessons and I look forward to seeing/hearing from you soon! If you have any questions, please send them through email: hardens@dearbornschools.org I check it often.
NOTE: Center-Based Special Education students, your activities will be posted on the blog each week and sent to you classroom teachers.
Have a great week everyone!

Please check your email if you have not yet logged in and accept the invite. If you need the code or a new invitation, please email me at hardens@dearbornschools.org.
