Last Friday, there was a substitute in my classroom that went over PBIS notes with 6th grade. They also completed a short essay paragraph. The 7th and 8th graders picked their Spanish names and wrote their first set of notes that pertained to their curriculum.
Today, 6th, 7th and 8th graders had assemblies with Mr. Fisher that went over PBIS expectations. Those classes that met with me learned about Mexico’s Independence Day this week through visual and written activities.
I am still waiting for some students to have parents email me with media permission. Please do so ASAP. Thank you.

There was a substitute in class today. 6th grade focused on PBIS expectations by going through the majority of the PBIS PowerPoint slides. 7th & 8th graders chose their Spanish names, decorated their notebooks and took their first set of notes in class. All three grade levels created a short essay paragraph that focused on PBIS expectations for school-wide non-negotiables. A sample paragraph was provided in class for students to guide their writing skills. This will be their first formative grade in class.

Students continued to learn about PBIS expectations. We focused on expectations within the classroom. We did a lot of movement by practicing these expectations inside and outside of the classroom today. Please make sure to send me an email if you have not done so already with your child’s name, hour, and if media publication of pictures and/or videos is allowed. Many thanks!
