March 30th-April 3rd
Greetings! A weekly checklist and specific activity directions are posted on the blog for the 6th, 7th & 8th graders below. Please let me know if you cannot access it.
Thank you for all the parents that filled out the survey “permission forms” in their emails from last Friday. I still need many more responses in order to start any video conferencing. Please make sure to check your email. I appreciate all your feedback!
We will be using vocabulary we have learned already. Students will have a variety of activities this week and will answer questions that follow. I will post their results in Parent Connect after Friday’s due date. In iLearn, make sure they click “Finish Attempt” and “Submit All & Finish” 2 times to submit the work and see their score. They can redo the assignment multiple times. I will record their highest score. Feedback is provided at the end so that they know what is incorrect and why. Make sure they read it carefully and go back to redo the assignment if needed.

Congratulations! You have made it another week! If you are like me, you are finding multiple ways to multitask with little ones running all over the house as well as trying to homeschool them! Keeping you all in my thoughts and hoping you are all healthy.
Parents have a survey today. A survey will be sent out at 11 am. The students that did not fill out the survey yesterday, need to fill it out today. Half the 8th graders, almost half the 7th graders and very few 6th graders filled out their surveys yesterday. Those that did submit them are providing some helpful feedback. I ask that this be done ASAP. Thank you!
Any students that have not submitted iLearn work or other projects yet, please email me today once complete so I can mark off your task as complete in Student Connect.
6th grade (A Day): Please check Google Classroom for a survey. You will need some information from your parents/guardians to fill it out. Use today as an opportunity to review German Quizlets posted earlier on Google Classroom. If you have missing iLearn work or German projects, email me that you have completed it.
Enjoy your weekend everyone!
Survey Corrected
On Google Classroom, the survey has been corrected because there was one question that had a setting that needed to be changed. Thanks everyone!

Additional News: We will be distributing on the Notre Dame side of the building – drive through style – outside of door 17.
Dearborn Schools has announced that O.L. Smith will be added as a student meal distribution site starting on Monday, March 23.
Students, parents or a family representative can stop by any of meal locations from 10 a.m. to noon each week day to pick up meals. One bag will be handed out for each child under 18 in the home. The Dearborn School student does not need to attend school at that building. Students do not need to be present, and a designated person can pick up meals for all the children in the family.
The free grab-and-go meals include food for lunch and breakfast. Meals for Saturday and Sunday can be picked up on Friday.
Six other food sites opened on Tuesday, including Fordson, Edsel Ford and Dearborn high schools; McCollough-Unis; Salina Intermediate; and Woodworth Middle School.
Signage at each site will direct parents and students to where to enter the building. Food will be near entrances, usually near the kitchen, to minimize the amount of time community members spend in the facilities.
The grab-and-go meals will be served at least through April 3.
