Thursday, March 17th
There was a substitute in my room yesterday. Students took notes and completed book work in my absence. I went over all the material in class today.
6th grade: Students filmed vocabulary and sang a song for a German high school project in class today. A Day will have their test next Thursday, March 24th. B Day will have their test on Monday, April 4th (the day after break).
7th grade & 8th grade Conversational Spanish: Students reviewed creating singular and plural sentence structures in class today. Fifth hour had an assembly with the superintendent of Dearborn schools. Students will have a test on Wednesday, March 23rd.
8th grade: Students reviewed vocabulary and practiced creating “ir a” sentences with infinitive verbs. The quiz for vocab 2 will be next Tuesday, March 22nd.

Monday, March 14th
6th grade: Students learned about German culture. If a student was absent, please have him/her see me to complete the cultural pages in the packet. 7th grade & 8th grade Conversational Spanish: Students created animal projects in Spanish today. These projects are due tomorrow. 8th grade: Students continued chapter 4 vocab 2 notes in class.
Friday, March 11th
6th grade: Students learned German vocabulary words in class today through a presentation by seniors from Edsel Ford. 7th grade & 8th grade Conversational Spanish: Students reviewed 2.2 notes on animals in class today. 5th hour had an assembly. 8th grade: The Ch. 4 grammar 1 quiz was taken. Students then started chapter 4 vocab 2 notes in class.
Thursday, March 10th
6th grade: Students learned German days and months in class today. They have page 3 as homework tonight. 7th grade & 8th grade Conversational Spanish: Students took 2.2 notes on animals in class today. 8th grade: Students read a cultural article in Spanish and looked for vocabulary they could understand. They have page 2 as homework tonight. 7th grade & 8th grade Conversational Spanish: Students reviewed 2.1 notes in class today. 8th grade: Students reviewed venir today. The Ch. 4 grammar 1 quiz will be tomorrow. Grades are being posted Friday.

6th grade: March is Reading Month was presented in the auditorium. 7th grade & 8th grade Conversational Spanish: Unit 1 Test 8th grade: Students reviewed tener idiom expressions and tener que. Students received a project that needs to be completed by Wednesday. It will be their last summative grade for the card marking period.
