6th grade classes: B Day will meet on Monday, Wednesday & Friday of this week. They will learn about American Sign Language numbers, days, months & colors. They will have their ASL test next Tuesday, January 15th and their cultural food day on Thursday, January 17th. Study concepts daily using Quizlet.com.
A day will meet on Tuesday and Thursday of this week. They will learn about American Sign Language (ASL) colors & play Jeopardy. They will have their test on Monday, January 14th and their cultural food day on Wednesday, January 16th. Use Quizlet.com to study each day. Check planner for daily assignment completion and (if applicable) change of plans. Check Parent Connect to see if students have been completing homework and participating.
7th & 8th grade Conversational Spanish: Students will learn about how often something is done. Frequency vocabulary terms will be emphasized in class this week. Students will play Jeopardy on Wednesday and have their unit 6 test on Thursday. Students should be studying 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, & 6.4 on Quizlet.com. We will begin learning unit 7 tener expressions on Friday. Cultural food day will be next Wednesday, January 16th. The final exam will be on Thursday, January 17th. When there is homework, it will always be posted on Google Classroom on a daily basis. Check planner daily! Check Parent Connect to see if students have been completing homework.
8th grade Yearlong: Students will review ch. 3 vocab 1 terms which focus on verbs. A “Mis Amigos & Yo” project will be due this Friday. We will have a midterm that will cover chapters 1-3 (half of 3) on Wednesday, January 16th. Cultural food day will be on Thursday, January 17th. During this week, we will be learning about pronouns after prepositions. We will also conjugate “querer” using infinitives. Please make sure that students are reviewing previous vocabulary terms and grammar concepts. Use Quizlet.com as a study tool.
