Week of Monday, May 14th
6th grade classes: Last week, we learned about culture before numbers because M-STEP took a bit longer to complete for the class. This week, B day will be learning about culture. A day will learn about days and months on Tuesday. On Wednesday, B day will learn about numbers. Thursday will focus on days and months with A day. B day will then learn about colors on Friday. B day will need pages 1-4 complete by the end of the week. A day should have pages 1-3 complete by the end of the week. Check planner for daily assignment completion. 7th & 8th grade Conversational Spanish: Students will learn to use likes and dislikes with sentence frames. We will also learn to use the phrase “Which do you like?” in referring to indirect objects “el and la.” When there is homework, it will always be posted on Google Classroom on a daily basis. Grades are posted to reflect homework completion and assessment knowledge on Parent Connect.
8th grade Yearlong: Students will have a chapter 4 test today, Monday, May 14th. Tomorrow, we will learn about the culture of Chile and review information on Wednesday. Students will begin learning about family terms this week. Students from the D.C. trip have until Wednesday to take their quiz and chapter 4 test if they need extra study time.
