NEW POSTS TO GOOGLE CLASSROOM- tutorials and assignments.

Material covered this week: Distributive property, combining like terms, factoring, and equivalent expressions. (IXL Y11, Y12, Y15, Y16, & Y17). QUIZ OVER ALL ON FRIDAY.

GOOGLE MEET TOMORROW: 3:00-3:30 (1st Hour), 3:30-4:00 (2nd Hour), 4:00-4:30 (5th Hour). Click the Link in GOOGLE CLASSROOM in the top left corner under the class code to join.

I sent SEVERAL EMAILS to students that are missing assignments. If you want to know what you are missing, check Student Connect and complete those assignments. Assignments need to be completed on time if you would like them included in the Gradebook. If you complete a late assignment, send me an email when it is done so that I can go back and adjust the grade.

Hi everyone! If you missed the Google Meet today, here is what you missed:

1. From now on, you MUST attend all meetings. It is required.
2. During the meetings: cameras ON, microphones OFF, paper/pencil, attention, best behavior, focused, polite.
3. Assignments, Videos, Tutorials, etc. are going to be posted to Google Classroom. You MUST complete ALL assignments. It is required.
4. Keep checking your email. If I send you an email, respond within 24 hours.
5. Today you will…. watch the Y11 and Y12 Tutorials on Google Classroom, go to IXL and complete Y11 and Y12 to 90%, go to Google Classroom and complete the 4.20 Video Lesson Exit Ticket, go to iReady and complete the 3 teacher assigned lessons and the 12 lessons in your path (15 total PASSED) if you have not done so.
6. Make a schedule for yourself so that you do not get overwhelmed or behind.
7. Reach out to me if there is anything that I can assist you with.

Google Meet with me at 5pm. I will be giving information about the NEW SCHEDULE due to District Requirements. The code will be Live in Google Classroom at 4:55. I will be helping you set up and make a schedule for yourself. I will also be posting a QUIZ on Lesson 16 for you to complete before Monday. See you at 5!

New Schedule Starting Monday 4.20. EVERYTHING COUNTS AND IS GRADED. You must attend your online Google Meet sessions. You must follow the rules set up by the teacher. You must not be disruptive in any way. Here is the NEW schedule. You will be meeting at different times based on what hour you have which subject. Please be aware that we may need to make some changes down the line, but this is what we have for now:

Lesson 16 Quiz is on the Google Classroom. It is due Sunday night by 9pm. Review the Google Slides for Lesson 16 that I posted in Google Classroom BEFORE you take the Quiz to help you study. Make sure you understand the slides.

Plan for Math Schedule:

Mondays- Google Meet (new lesson), exit ticket, assignments

Wednesdays- Google Meet (practice new lesson), exit ticket, assignments

Fridays- Google Meet Office Hours (open to all students to ask questions), Quiz over the lesson that we covered that week in Google Classroom.

Hi all! I am doing LOTS of work today- trying to put things together for you to make things simpler and more streamlined. Keep checking back. Please try the IXL assignment in Google Classroom (go there and click on it)- I am testing to see how it grades the assignment. I am also testing some attendance takers in Google Meet. Please be patient with me! 🙂 Stay safe and healthy- work on Lesson 16 content in Khan and IXL today. I am planning a Lesson 16 Quiz for you tomorrow.

You should complete the new Khan Assignments BEFORE the Meet so that I can answer your questions.

Make sure that you go over your responses for the 4/13-Exit Ticket in Google Classroom so that you can get a sense of what it is you still do not understand.

All students should have a minimum of 15 iReady Lessons COMPLETED and PASSED. If you do not, you will be getting a call from me this week.

Great lesson today, guys! I noticed many students signed in late. Please be sure you complete the NEW 4/13 EXIT TICKET in Google Classroom by 8pm TONIGHT to let me know that you attended.

We talked about Khan and IXL that go with this lesson. Most of you have already completed Lesson 16 on iReady.

IXL: Section Y, Section E, Section T, and Section Z all have to do with this material. Specifically: Y1 through Y8, E12, T10, & Z3-New!

Khan: Check your Khan for the new assignments for this week. These have already been assigned in the past and are review, so you should be able to complete them without any issues. Watch the videos for more help.
