2nd graders read a book called “Uncle Andy’s Cats” by his nephew James Warhola.  Using shapes, they learned how to draw a few different cats.  Then we looked at the print ‘Cats on a Carpet”.  They each designed their own ‘carpet’ with cats on it.  After tracing with crayon, they painted their artwork.
