Students drew one large heart.  They used a ruler and crayons to draw straight vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines – from top of the page to the bottom and from side to side.  Some drew lines inside of the new shapes.  After learning about warm and cool colors, students (were supposed to! (-:) paint the heart with warm colors and the outside with cool colors.
