WEAVING!  We read about weaving in the art textbooks and learned how to make a loom out of straws.  Once the yarn was inserted through the six straws students designed their weaving and got started.  Once they finished and the straws were removed the weavings were stapled to construction paper and became wall hangings.

Some students also made purses.
