Welcome back, students!
We are looking forward to another fantastic week of learning here at Miller.
Below are the latest updates and important reminders for the week ahead.
📝 Testing & Attendance:
- WIDA Testing: Testing continues this week. To help our students perform their best, please ensure they get plenty of sleep and eat a nutritious breakfast. Reach out to your child’s teacher if you have questions regarding this testing.
- Count Day is Wednesday! We want to see every Miller Mustang in their seats this Wednesday. Thank you for making attendance a priority!
❄️ Staying Warm
The weather looks promising for outdoor recess for some of the days this week! Please remind your child to wear a winter coat, gloves and a hat.
Note: We always remind the students before they go outside for lunch recess..
🗓️ Important Dates
- Tuesday: Early Release Dismissal. Students will be dismissed at 2:25 p.m. Please ensure your child is picked up promptly, as we have noticed an increase in late pickups, on Early Release Tuesdays.
- Wednesday: District Spelling Bee. Come cheer on our Miller Spelling Bee Contestants! Congrats to Safa from Mr. Winkels class representing 5th grade, Iman from Mrs. Musleh’s class representing 4th grade and Lamar from Mrs. Bazzi’s 3rd grade classroom.
- Note: The event runs from 5:00–7:30 p.m. at Fordson High School.

نتطلع إلى أسبوع رائع آخر من التعلم هنا في مدرسة ميلر.
فيما يلي آخر التحديثات والتذكيرات المهمة للأسبوع القادم:
📝 الاختبارات والحضور:
اختبار WIDA: تستمر الاختبارات هذا الأسبوع. لمساعدة طلابنا على تحقيق أفضل أداء، نرجو التأكد من حصولهم على قسط كافٍ من النوم وتناول وجبة إفطار مغذية. إذا كانت لديكم أي أسئلة بخصوص هذا الاختبار، يرجى التواصل مع معلم/معلمة طفلكم.
يوم الإحصاء هو يوم الأربعاء! نود أن نرى جميع طلاب “ميلر موستانغ” في مقاعدهم هذا الأربعاء. شكرًا لجعل الحضور أولوية!
❄️ البقاء دافئين
الطقس يبدو مناسبًا للخروج إلى الفسحة الخارجية في بعض أيام هذا الأسبوع! يرجى تذكير أطفالكم بارتداء معطف شتوي وقفازات وقبعة.
ملاحظة: نذكّر الطلاب دائمًا قبل خروجهم إلى فسحة الغداء بالخارج.
🗓️ تواريخ مهمة:
الثلاثاء: انصراف مبكر – سيتم انصراف الطلاب الساعة 2:25 مساءً. يرجى التأكد من استلام أطفالكم في الوقت المحدد، فقد لاحظنا زيادة في حالات التأخر في الاستلام أيام الثلاثاء ذات الانصراف المبكر.
الأربعاء: مسابقة التهجئة على مستوى المنطقة. تعالوا وشجعوا ممثلي مدرسة ميلر! تهانينا لـ صفاء من صف الأستاذ وينكلز ممثلة للصف الخامس، إيمان من صف السيدة مصلي ممثلة للصف الرابع ولمار من صف السيدة بزي للصف الثالث.
ملاحظة: تقام الفعالية من الساعة 5:00 مساءً حتى 7:30 مساءً في مدرسة فوردسون الثانوية.

📝 Pruebas y asistencia:
Pruebas WIDA: Las pruebas continúan esta semana. Para ayudar a nuestros estudiantes a rendir al máximo, asegúrese de que duerman bien y desayunen de forma nutritiva. Comuníquese con el maestro(a) de su hijo(a) si tiene preguntas sobre estas pruebas.
¡El Día del Conteo es el miércoles! Queremos ver a cada Mustang de Miller en su asiento este miércoles. ¡Gracias por priorizar la asistencia!
❄️ Mantenerse abrigados
¡El clima parece prometedor para recreo al aire libre algunos días esta semana! Por favor, recuerde a su hijo(a) usar abrigo de invierno, guantes y gorro.
Nota: Siempre les recordamos a los estudiantes antes de salir al recreo del almuerzo.
🗓️ Fechas importantes:
Martes: Salida temprana. Los estudiantes saldrán a las 2:25 p.m. Asegúrese de recoger a su hijo(a) puntualmente, ya que hemos notado un aumento en los retrasos los martes de salida temprana.
Miércoles: Concurso de Ortografía del Distrito. ¡Vengan a apoyar a nuestros concursantes de la Escuela Miller! Felicitaciones a Safa de la clase del Sr. Winkels representando a 5.º grado, Iman de la Sra. Musleh representando a 4.º grado y Lamar de la clase de la Sra. Bazzi representando a 3.º grado.
Nota: El evento se llevará a cabo de 5:00 p.m. a 7:30 p.m. en la escuela secundaria Fordson.
