Celebrity Drug Deaths

Drugs have always been played a major part in our economy, some legal and some illegal.

But, as many know, there are many younger people using drugs. Under the systems of the black market, it has been sent into the wrong hands. But what happens when these drugs get into the wrong hands, especially ones of someone who is in the eyes of the media.

When being in the spotlight starting from a young age takes a toll on celebrities, they look for a new way to relieve stress, drugs.

Whether it’s from alleviating the public burden to having fun at a party, drugs eventually reach the hands of many celebrities.

Many viewers, such as younger audiences, seem to be influenced and experiment with drugs. According to the Novak Djokovic Foundation, “Changing children’s opinions about celebrities becomes even more difficult when children already have an obsessive fixation on their idol and see them as their primary role model. This is a particular problem when celebrities are engaging in poor behavior in public.”

While the deaths of celebrities caused by overdose may seem normal to others, many of the medics and worried parents are on the move.

The younger fans, especially in their teens, have role models they look up to. As they see the celebrity idols they had once looked up to fail, they take the same path. Aleson Coleman, a student attending Unis Middle School commented on the topic “ I think it hurts those kids because it’s someone they could possibly look up to and idolize and might crush their spirit, or happiness as a whole.”

Drugs affect teens, especially those who start it in middle school, throughout their physical and mental state. According to The Recovery Village, “ In 2015, more than 8% of 8th graders reported using illicit drugs.”

Drug users often have anxiety or depression, and since celebrities are also humans, they can also slip up and get out of line, sometimes too far out of line.

Mukarram Mustafa, has 2 kids in the area of drug outreach, “ I know it is many people in their early years that face this problem, and I know many who have suffered from drug addiction, I’m just afraid for my children and others.”

So, celebrities can also have their bad days, but those who have grown up in front of the spotlight are expected to outshine extraordinarily.

Being under pressure can really roll downhill, especially when it is brought up as an amazingly rich life. But there is more stress and depression to add on.

The views of the outcomes are indeed negative. Those who believe that everyone can get help and don’t need drugs, and those who understand the pressure and have felt what it feels like to be angst.

Idols under the ton of weight tend to curve into a dark hole in which they feel trapped with no end. “ I think people feel free and they feel like they should do it again because it is a source of their happiness.” Says Mirna Assi, a WEB helper for kids of young age, “People can get a therapist or get a guardian to help them, someone, anyone that can help.”

Many have not experienced the feeling of the use of drugs, but have thought about isolation from society through the use of a substance.

This is what it is like to get into drugs.

No escape for many, as death waits ahead.

On point with getting help, as previously mentioned, help can be provided through a drug abuse help-line, a therapist, or a hospital. According to DrugAbuse.gov, “Treatment for drug abuse and addiction is delivered in many different settings using a variety of behavioral and pharmacological approaches.”

For those who are battling drug addiction, there is a way out.

Always know, there is guidance.  Many celebrities have battled drug addiction, many have lost, but celebrities like Lindsay Lohan, Drew Barrymore, Corey Haim, and many others have won over drug addiction and are living their lives in peace.

Many children that have been influenced by celebrities that have lost their battles to drug addiction. Reputation is the main key, and it seems to be going onto the point where people’s lives are at risk. In society today, these drugs can get to all the wrong places, and be used in all the wrong ways. Since there is the idea that you can possibly lose someone forever to drugs and addiction involved, the drugs of this world should stay on the medical side. Alas, they don’t, so one is to be mindful of their loved ones, or the consequences show to be…severe.
