11,184 people die from gun homicides per year. 20,511 people die from gun suicides per year. There are many different ways people could die of gun use. A few ways are suicide, homicides, mass shootings,school shootings and accidental child shootings.
Many believe the U.S does not have a gun control, and if we did there would be a lot less deaths.In the second amendment, there is a law that gives U.S citizens the right to bear arms. This law was passed when the U.S was battling Britain for their freedom. But, now America is free and are not in war anymore so, there is no point of having this law.
So many innocent children die every year from school shootings.The biggest school shooting in history is “The Bath School Shooting of 1
927”. 38 elementary students with 6 adults that died, and injured 58 other people.”I think school shootings are disgusting”, said, Unis middle school teacher Alexandria Houssaiky.
Suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in the U.S.42,773 people die of suicides per year. 117 people die of suicides per day. 20,511 people die of gun suicides per year.”Most suicides are done just because of bullying or depression”,said Ali Saad.
7 children and teens(age of 19 or under) die from guns on an average day. In a singe month, 51 women die from fire arms.”There is so much gun violence in the U.S because the government allows it”,said Hamza Jalad. Most people think that gun violence will never end in the U.S. “I don’t think gun violence will ever end. “There will always be dumb people using guns for the wrong things”, said Jon Kazy, a middle school student.

When someone kills someone, I dont only think they should go to jail, I think they should have the gun confiscated from their possession. No body can control suicide but that person, which is why it happens often. I think that this situation with guns need to end and I think that we should get rid of guns and them to be used for war.

This article was interesting because I didn’t know half of the stuff here. Such as 117 people die from suicide every day or that 7 kids or teens die every day. The facts in this article were actually mind blowing because when you think of it that means there are so many people that are being bullied or people doing the bullying. I agree with Zaradasht when he said that guns are very dangerous or when he said that the U.S should remove the law that people have the right to bear arms.

In my opinion I think that guns should not be used anymore by anybody, the reason for that is because Every year in the U.S, an average of more than 100,000 people are shot, every day in the U.S., an average of 289 people are shot. And in those 100,000 people getting shot a year according to the article 20,000 are homicides, suicides, and even school shootings. The reason I think guns should be banned is because if guns are banned than the death rate for homicides, suicides, and school shootings will go down immensely.
I think that gun homicides/suicide is a problem. Homicides are mostly caused by gun use. Suicides are happening because of depression and bullying. I think the U.S should have a extremely strict gun control law. If this doesn’t fix then the death rate per year will explode.
