To those of you who are still missing the Unit 8.6 Final Project:
This assignment is larger in point value than our other assignments. You may be frustrated if you are turning in all of your other work and your grade does not seem to change that much.
This project must be turned in to get a passing grade for Quarter 4 report cards. If you need help with your project, please e-mail me ASAP and I can help you!

It’s Sunday everyone! The end of the school week…
If you didn’t have a chance to finish your assignments during the school week (Mon-Fri), I still give you the weekend (Sat-Sun) to finish them and still be considered “on time.”
Please remember, these are graded assignments now! If you are not doing your work online, it affects your quarter 4 grade and will result in a phone call home. You should be getting about 2 graded assignments in every single class every week and they need to be done!
If you are struggling with time management, one tip I shared in the past is to try to stick to regular school hours to complete your work in each class. Get up early, start by 8AM after having a nice breakfast, and turn it all off by 3PM so that you can have some time to enjoy your family, pets, social media, video games, and whatever else it is that you like to do in your free time!
However, I know Ramadan is upon us, and many of you have had to make changes to your routines to work around religious fasting. I have SO much respect for anyone who honors their faith by observing religious traditions, and this is no exception! I would love to hear what you have done to adjust your routine to be able to observe Ramadan. Your Check-In quiz for next week will have questions about this — and if you don’t observe Ramadan, you’ll have slightly different questions you can answer 🙂 That will be posted tomorrow morning.

I forgot to update my iBlog last night after posting the assignments. They are there, ready to go! The assignments this week are pretty straightforward. I didn’t even create a guided slideshow because the directions are right there in the slide this time around. 🙂 I will do a quick Screencast today for those of you that understand better when I explain with my voice!

Please check Student Connect and make sure scores are filled in for assignments you have completed. You can compare them to the grades posted on Google Classroom. OA stands for Online Assignment.
I am caught up on grading except for anything submitted late last night or this morning. If you notice an error please e-mail me.
If you see a blank score, I did not get your assignment on Google Classroom. It is your responsibility to log in every day and do your Online Learning just like it was your responsibility to show up to school every day and participate in class. Missing scores are reflected in a lower grade.
Please understand that if you are refusing to participate, there are consequences now. Dearborn Schools have submitted a plan for your online learning to satisfy the requirements by the State of Michigan. If there is some reason you can’t participate (need a computer, Internet, family member is ill, etc.) I am asking that you e-mail me so that I can document that. Extenuating circumstances like these are taken into consideration!

We hope this message finds you all in good health. Woodworth Middle School will be handing out Chromebooks to students who still need technology on Monday, April 27th from 12-2pm. Parent and student ID must be present in order to get a Chromebook. We will be handing Chromebooks out off of Hubbard Drive facing Greenfield – Door #7. We are asking everyone to stay in their car and drive up waiting for directions from our volunteers. We ask everyone to adhere to the strict guidelines of social distancing in order to protect our families and our volunteers.
