Pop Quiz / Vocab Assignment
Today we had a pop quiz where students were asked to complete a decision matrix with information provided on their quiz. It was short and sweet! 15 points total…
After, students were asked to complete Frayer Models for vocabulary words we have not had a chance to define yet. There were 5 words to complete F.M. for after the quiz. Students who did not finish should finish theirs for homework. It is due tomorrow.
These definitions were posted on the board to help:
Pattern: Events that occur together and usually repeat.
Cause: An event that leads to a second event.
Effect: The second event in a series, which follows a cause

*** Some students were asked to complete a larger version of a word for my word wall. How exciting that student work will be posted soon to help students see visuals for each word and reference the definitions frequently! Larger word wall versions were extra work for extra credit. Everyone is expected to do their 5 assigned words regardless of extra Word Wall work. Thank you! 🙂
