CENTER-BASED LEARNING MUSIC CLASSES

CENTER-BASED LEARNING MUSIC CLASSES
CENTER-BASED LEARNING MUSIC CLASSES

Greetings to our students in the Center-Based Learning program! Here are a few familiar songs for our students to enjoy at home this week!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vd8qh8QrgXQ Shake it Off

This is a great song to dance to and get our bodies moving! Get a dance partner and have some fun!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iw8FddccIkQ It’s a Beautiful Morning

This song is for calm listening and enjoyment.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pjw2A3QU8Qg The Ants Go Marching In

This song is great for feeling the pulse of the music. Families can help by clapping or helping their children feel the beat in other ways. Pat your knees, tap on toes, light touch on arm or shoulders using hand-over-hand where appropriate. If you have an instrument available, use it to play to the beat. Look on my blog for how to make your own homemade shaker.

WEEK 3 RECORDERS 4TH GRADE

WEEK 3 RECORDERS 4TH GRADE

Hello Recorder players! Great news! I have put a new assignment for you on our Google Classroom. Now you can make a video to send to me of you playing your Recorder Karate songs, and it should be super easy to do! Make sure to practice before recording. I would love to get a message from you so if you just want to check it out, record a 5-10 second message telling me how you are doing, say hello to the class and I will let you know that it worked! You should be able to check out videos posted by others in the classroom too!
