    • That is great to hear Mohamed! Music is a wonderful way to challenge yourself academically as well as relax, and scientific brain research shows that studying music improves skills like physical activity and coordination, test taking, reading, writing, math and language aquisition. It has even shown the brain to get larger in some areas! Keep up the good work!

    • You have to go to ilearn. Then log in with your id number for the username/password. Then you will need the special code word that I gave you to get in. If any pop-up bars come on please check “allow pop-ups” Look up rec101 (also called “record yourself”) in the search box at the bottom of the page and you should get right into the course. Enroll as a student in the course. If you have any problems please let me know. Happy recording!

  8. hi mrs.harden i wanted to tell u were is the music for the recorders i didnt see u were u sick or had s do smothing. when u leave a comment what does it mean by websiete

    • @ Zahraa, the recorder music can be found by clicking on the little white box “select category”. Then click 4th grade and scroll down. All of the blue highligted songs are either the sheet music or the mp3 files for you to listen to. A website is a place online that people create so others can find their business or organization. What you are on now is called a “blog”. A blog is a computer page that allows a person to share information with others. Good questions! Ms. Harden

    • That is wonderful Saleh! I will start listening to belt tests soon. Be sure to read every note as you play and practice until you can play it 10 consecutive times without mistakes. (That means 10 times in a row) Use gentle, warm air, cover all of the holes to produce a beautiful tone. Remember to tongue each note and maintain a steady tempo throughout the piece. Now you know the keys to success! If you follow these steps then you should pass it on the first try!

    • Amanda,

There are only three notes in Gently Sleep. They are: B, A and G, the same notes that are found in the song Hot Cross Buns. The difference is the order of the notes and the length of each. Study what I have taught you about reading the notes and you will figure it out quickly. Then practice, practice, practice!
