A Pretty Little Fish

01 A Pretty Little Fish

A pretty Little Fish went swimming by

Out in the middle of the sea

When he (they) thought he’d (they’d) ask a friend to play

“Won’t you come and swim with me?”

Through the water they would glide

they’d go swimming side by side

out in the middle of the sea sea sea

Through the water they would glide

They’d go swimming side by side

Out in the middle of the sea sea sea

Out in the middle of the sea

Echo Me!

11 Echo Me!

Echo me …, Carefully…

Easy as can be… If you echo me …

Sing my little song…It’s not too long…

Just echo me… Cause it’s easy as can be…

La la la… Lee lee lee…

Dooby dooby doo… If you echo me

Ming a ming a ming…(whistle)

Just echo me, Cuz it’s as can be

Tap with me, carefully

Easy as can be, if you tap with me

Tap my little song, it’s not too long

Just tap with me, cuz it’s easy as can be

Mister Engine, Chuggin’ Down The Track

05 Mister Engine, Chuggin’ Down The Track

Mister Engine chuggin’ down the track.

Mister Engine clickety clickety clack

When I hear the whistle blow

Up to the front the caboose will go

Mister Engine chuggin’ down the track

Mister engine carry me along

Mister engine join me in my song

When I hear the whistle blow

Up to the front the caboose will go

Mister Engine chuggin’ down the track

Mister Engine traveling down the track

Mister Engine smoke stack on your back

When I hear the whistle blow

Up to the front the caboose will go

Mister Engine chuggin’ down the track

Clean Up Song

02 Clean Up Song

Put away the toys and trucks! Put away the dolls!

Now is the time to clean up!

Put away the blocks and things! Put away the games!

Now is the time to clean up!

When we’ve put our toys away! To the circle we will come!

Ready to listen and to learn!

When we hear this music play! It tells us to put away!

Now is the time to clean up!

In Pretty Blue Hawaii

04 In Pretty Blue Hawaii

Oh, the palm trees are swaying.

And the waves roll out to sea.

The birdies fly ‘cross the bright blue sky.

That’s where I long to be.

Oh the mountain peaks are rising

To the sun that shines so bright!

The rainbow adds it’s colors to

This pretty Hawaiian sight!

Now won’t you dance the hula?

Just like Hawaiians do?

Come join with me and you can be

In pretty blue Hawaii!

  1. hi! Ms.Harden i was a student of yours last year I had you for two years 7th and 8th grade and I was just wondering if you remembered me. Let me just say I was well opinionated and loved making accents in your Performing Arts class, I was random and had a strength for projecting my voice. lol I also loved to speak my mind in your class, i’m sure you would remeber me 🙂
I have moved and I just remebered how much fun your class was even though it was hard work but it really paid off in the end. I am now in highs chool in a diff state and am currently in a Drama Class and everything you had taught me, working on vocals is very much used in Drama Class and I was just stopping by and saying thank you! Our class was crazy but that didn’t stop you from teaching you never gave up and you always saw a personality and you knew each and every one of your students. You knew us very well and you were a very open minded teacher and very unique. I’m sorry for making a comment on your blog about homework and I dont attend the school anymore but I just had to let you know what an amazing class it was and I had many great memories in your class with all of my fellow classmates and friends.

  3. Mrs. Harden,

I am the president of a co-op preschool. We use the clean-up song you have listed. We have such an old copy on a tape that is failing. Do you know if there is a recording of it either on CD or MP3?

    • Hello,

Yes there is a CD that goes along with the songbook “Amazing Musical Moments” by Kathy Poelker through look at Me Productions. You should be able to Google it and find it quite easily.

      Good luck!

    • Hello! Unfortunately I do not know of a free website to listen to the music, but you can find the book and cd by looking up: “Amazing Musical Moments” by Kathy Poelker through look at Me Productions. Let me know what you find!

    • Hello Malack,

The music comes from a book/cd combination that is available for purchase. I do not believe that you can find the music on a website for a free music download but you can find the book and cd. Let’s talk about home practice when we come back to school in January. great to see that you are thinking about it during your vacation!

  4. ms. harden you see the pictures that you took of the hat? My mom would like you to show it to people because she is selling hats. She was wondering what one or two colors you want. It costs 10.
