Today we worked on a blood spatter inquiry lab. We watched a clip from Dexter, about how blood tells a story. We then created our own procedures to test our hypothesis about how the height at which it is dropped and the size of the drop are related.

To be eligible for a retake for the blood typing quiz from Thursday, the following criteria must be met.
You will not be able to use your graphic organizer on this quiz.

A reminder that there is a quiz on Monday relating to the genetics of blood typing, including Punnet square problems. Students will be able to use their guided notes on the quiz. Great places to study would be these practice sheets…(which we went over in class!)

Today we started a new SLOT worksheet based on line graphs and completed guided notes on blood type genetics.
There is a QUIZ on Thursday relating to Blood Types and Agglutination tests.
Today we finished up the analysis of the blood typing lab. We used the CER template to write our analysis paragraph. We also played the blood typing game to determine patient’s blood types and figure out what type of blood they can receive during a transfusion based on their blood type.
