QUIZ TOMORROW!

Today we went over the case study assignment, reviewing physical evidence, circumstantial evidence, class evidence, and individual evidence.

Remember that tomorrow there is a quiz on the vocabulary and something like the article.  You will be turning in your vocab foldable and your article.

QUIZ ON THURSDAY!

Today we did the vocab zip around again.  The class with the quickest time will get bonus points on their quiz on Thursday.

We also read this case study. Richard Crafts Case Study

Students were asked to identify different types of physical evidence and circumstantial evidence in the case.  They were also asked to determine whether it was a criminal trial or civil trial, and a felony or misdemeanor.

Reminders

Remember that if you haven’t submitted your writing assignment on ILearn to do so ASAP.  I will be grading them over break.  If you need the website, it is moodle.dearbornschools.org

Today in class we finished up our guided notes and worked on our vocabulary foldable.  Vocab will be due the day of the quiz (tentatively next Thursday).  You should have all of the definitions in your guided notes (except for observation).

Have a safe, relaxing, break!

Real life CSI

Today student’s watched a video entitled the SCENE OF THE CRIME.  They took notes on how it is similar to crime scene investigation on TV shows and movies and how it was different than TV shows or movies.  We will use these, as well as information from the article on Tuesday to begin a writing assignment Thursday and continue on Friday.
