This is the moment you have all been waiting for!! Your very first online lessons for Monday, March 16.

For MATH you need to do the following in order:

1. Watch the video

2. Do Zearn Module 6 lesson 1

3. Read and hi-light the homework helper in Module 6 Succeed lesson 1 – make sure you are reading module 6 not 5.

4. Do Succeed Module 6 lesson 1

For READING do the following in order:

1. In your purple Treasure Book read the story on pages 260-283 (don’t panic there are lots of cool pictures).
2. There are eight words hi-lighted in yellow. Go to Googleclassroom type the sentence that contains the word – make the bolded word a different color. Use the context clues in the paragraph and type in what you think the word means. Keep your fingers on “home row”- for real! COMPLETE sentences please. Reread your work to make sure it is good and turn in.

For SCIENCE do the following:

1. Go to Readworks (login is BRUB4Y) and read the first article in the first set of Article of the Day. The title is Earth’s Atmosphere: A Jacket for the Planet.
2. After you read the article go to “book of knowledge” and type in (hands on “home row” people) 3-4 NEW or interesting things you learned that are science related. Only COMPLETE WELL WRITTEN SENTENCES – pretty please. Submit.
3. If you know how to do google slides and want to work on your constellation project while you are home then that is great. You will be a step ahead of everyone else when we return. If you do not know how to do google slides and want to do a project on a poster board with the information that will be fine also.

That is all for today. It will not be easy staying focused at home but you have to try really hard. You can email me with any questions. Please do not fall behind – it will be hard to catch up. We will add Social Studies tomorrow.

P.S. I almost forgot…be kind to everyone. Help your parents. Don’t whine about having to do school work. Don’t stay up all night – you’ll get bags under your eyes and you’ll be grumpy. Miss you guys!
