For years, research has informed us of the importance of keeping a regular schedule. Well, now’s your opportunity to try it. In the table below, we have put together a suggested schedule to keep daily. Of course, you are going to modify the schedule to fit yours and your families needs. We just offered this schedule as a place to start. Good luck!
Before 9:00 am | Wake up | Eat breakfast, make your bed, get dressed, put pajamas in the laundry |
9:00 – 10:00 | Morning Fresh Air | Take a walk or, if its raining, do some stretches or practice some mindfulness strategies. |
10:00 – 11:00 | Academic time | NO ELECTRONICS Work on packets |
11:00 – 12:00 | Creative time | Draw; craft; play music; cook; write in journal |
12:00 PM | Lunch | |
12:30 | Chores | Wipe the kitchen table and chairs Wipe all door handles, light switches and desk tops Wipe all bathroom sinks |
1:00 – 2:30 | Quiet time | Read; do a puzzle |
2:30 – 4:00 | Academic time | ELECTRONICS OKAY Google Classroom; Kahn Academy; etc. |
4:00 – 5:00 | Afternoon fresh air | Go for a bike ride; walk the dog; shoot some hoops |
