Good afternoon everyone. As we continue to count down the days to Christmas break (only 4 more school days) we have only two chapters to finish this semester Chapters 18 and 20. This week we are going to knock out chapter 18 by beginning  with our vocab match up for Chapter 18 and weekly SSR Article.

Here’s what we did today:

o       SSR-The Taj Mahal: A Love Story

o       1.) What do you think about Shah Jahan’s decision to build a memorial for his late wife? What does that say about his love for her?

As we wrap up Chapter 17 today we will be covering section 4 which focuses on John Calvin and the Council of Trent. We also answered the question “What does a baptism look like”? Tomorrow is our quiz on Chapter 17 Sections 1-4. It will be 35 questions (70 total summative points) and that leaves us with two unit tests before we hit final exams.

Half way through the week and it’s already time for Chapter 17’s study guide. We will be taking our quiz on Friday December 13th. The quiz will be 35 questions (10 matching and 20 multiple choice) covering all we have learned about Chapter 17.

Today was part 2 of our video covering the Medici family. We also worked on student led notes for Chapter 17 Section 2-The Northern Renaissance. Each student was is expected to have their notes complete before class tomorrow, so mom and dad this would be a great day to check up on them.
