As we wrap up Chapter 17 today we will be covering section 4 which focuses on John Calvin and the Council of Trent. We also answered the question “What does a baptism look like”? Tomorrow is our quiz on Chapter 17 Sections 1-4. It will be 35 questions (70 total summative points) and that leaves us with two unit tests before we hit final exams.

§        SWD synthesis of the major advancements and historical figures that fostered the growth of the Renaissance through the use of guided video facts and class discussions.

Half way through the week and it’s already time for Chapter 17’s study guide. We will be taking our quiz on Friday December 13th. The quiz will be 35 questions (10 matching and 20 multiple choice) covering all we have learned about Chapter 17.

§        SWD evaluation of an article on Michelangelo designed to aid the students in understanding his contributions to the Renaissance by critiquing the text and completing a collaborative reading activity

§        SWD application of the important political/historical figures, events and terms located in Chapter 17 through compiling information on a names and terms worksheet

o       Language Objective:

§        Students will read and record information on Michelangelo designed to aid the students in understanding his contributions to the Renaissance by critiquing the text and completing a collaborative Talk to the Text activity
