Dearborn City Councilman Brian O’Donnell visited Maples’ Mrs. Kiss’s 5th grade and Mrs. Poulos’s 4th grade in art to learn about Dearborn’s Art Department’s annual Empty Bowls event. He answered a lot of questions and then made a bowl with Maples’ Principal Mrs. Jakubik and the students. He interviewed Mrs. Briggs and some students for City of Dearborn TV about Empty Bowls and what a great event it is to be involved in.
