CLAY HEDGEHOGS!  The clay project this year is also something that will be functional.  Students created a hedgehog and then used colored pencil stubs to make holes in the back of the clay.  They were removed before the clay was fired in the kiln.  Once the pieces are painted students will be able to use the hedgehogs for years to come as their own personal pencil holder!
