Maples’ 3rd graders in Mrs. Casebolt’s class learned about primary and secondary colors.  After hearing about the artist Wassily Kandinsky and seeing his famous artwork that used concentric circles, we decided to create our own.  Students folded paper to get 12 squares like Kandinsky and explored mixing colors to create their own artwork in his style.
