BATIK! Ms. Cox, student teacher, taught the students about the art of batik.  They used elmers’ glue to draw their designs on canvas squares.  When the glue was dry they painted the square with tempera paint.  Then the paint and glue were washed off leaving a batik style design.  These were used as front and back covers of a book to keep their Artist Trading Cards in.
