CONCENTRIC CIRCLES! We had a student teacher, Ms. Cox,  for eight weeks in the art room.  Students learned how to use a compass to draw a series of circles inside each other getting smaller and smaller.  Then they designed the circles using shapes and pattern.  After choose warm or cool colors, they traced with crayon and then painted with watercolor.
