Kindergarten students learned a song about shapes.  Then they practiced drawing circles, squares, rectangles, ovals and triangles in their sketchbooks.  Ms. Gervais, Student Teacher, read The Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.  Each student then drew their very own caterpillar using ovals and circles.  The rest of the shapes were used to draw food for the caterpillar to eat.
