Each year, some of Maples students create bowls for this wonderful District wide event hosted by the art department.  The bowls are sold at school beforehand and at the Empty Bowls dinner.  The community attends to eat soup , bread, water and coffee.  Each attendee gets to choose a bowl to take home!  The money raised this year went to Gleaners Food Bank and Blessings in a Backpack.
