Your child is enrolled in our Summer Discovery Program! Please read through the important information to help you and your child prepare for a successful summer experience.
Teachers will be outside starting at 8:50 am with signs with their name on them to indicate the grade level and room #. They will be on the sidewalk near the parking lot.
Summer Program Hours:
8:00am-8:30am AM Tutoring (must have registered at time of enrollment; NO BUS, MUST DROP OFF)
8:30am-9:00am Breakfast (Optional)
9:00am-3:25pm Summer Discovery School Day
3:30pm-4:00pm PM Tutoring (must have registered at time of enrollment; NO BUS, MUST PICK UP)

سيتواجد المعلمون في الخارج بدءاً من الساعة 8:50 صباحاً، حاملين لافتات تحمل أسماءهم وتوضح الصف الدراسي ورقم الغرفة. وسيكون موقعهم على الرصيف القريب من موقف السيارات.
مواعيد البرنامج الصيفي:

Arrival/Dismissal Procedures are the same as the school year:
- The main entrance doors will open at 8:00am for tutoring students ONLY.
- Breakfast will begin at 8:30am.
- Students should wait at their assigned areas once they are finished with breakfast or if they are not eating breakfast.
- Parents should not park along the yellow curb in front of the school in the AM. This is the bus lane only.
- Parents will pick up their students from the assigned areas outside between 3:25pm-3:30pm; if your child is a walker, please communicate this information with your child’s teacher.
- Parents whose children attend PM tutoring should plan to pick up their child from outside of the main entrance no later than 4:00 pm. Parents must be on time or risk removal from tutoring and the summer program.
- Students left past 4:00 pm more than 2x will be removed from the PM tutoring program (no exceptions).

يتم اصطحاب الطلاب من المناطق الخارجية المخصصة لذلك بين الساعة 3:25 و3:30 عصراً؛ وإذا كان الطالب يعود إلى المنزل مشياً على الأقدام، فيُرجى إبلاغ معلم/معلمة الطالب بذلك.
بالنسبة لأولياء أمور الطلاب المشاركين في دروس التقوية المسائية، يجب التخطيط لاصطحاب أبنائهم من خارج المدخل الرئيسي في موعد أقصاه الساعة 4:00 عصراً. يجب الالتزام بالمواعيد، وإلا فقد يتم استبعاد الطالب من دروس التقوية والبرنامج الصيفي.
سيتم استبعاد الطلاب الذين يتأخر اصطحابهم إلى ما بعد الساعة 4:00 عصراً لأكثر من مرتين من برنامج التقوية المسائي (دون استثناء).
Student Code of Conduct
The Summer Discovery Program is only 5 weeks and includes an abbreviated daily schedule. Students involved in this program should maximize the summer learning opportunities that they are privileged to experience. In order to do so, students must adhere to the Core Values at ALL times, this is a non-negotiable. During our summer program, we do not have any support staff available to assist with excessive disciplinary issues and poor choices that disrupt learning or harm other students. These behaviors will not be tolerated. Students are expected to demonstrate safe choices, responsible behavior, and respect with regards to themselves, staff, and other students. Students struggling to demonstrate Core Values will be sent home for the day. We have an exciting and packed schedule throughout the summer and consequences will include the possibility of missing out on special events and activities. Please discuss with your child what honesty, respect, integrity, citizenship, and responsibility look like at all times, throughout the building, with adults and peers. We will be sending home a Behavior Contract for you to review with your child on the 1st day of Summer Discovery. We want this to be a safe, fun, and meaningful experience for all students! We appreciate your support and cooperation.
