As winter-like weather settles in, please make sure your child comes to school dressed appropriately for the cold. This includes a warm winter coat, hat, gloves, scarf, and boots. Proper winter gear helps keep students safe and comfortable during outdoor activities.
Please also note our lunch recess weather policy:
- If the temperature or “feels-like” temperature is 20°F or below, students will have indoor recess.
- If the temperature or “feels-like” temperature is 21°F or higher, we will have outdoor recess, unless conditions are unsafe (e.g., icy sidewalks, heavy snow, or strong winds).
