Self-control is to delay short term gratification in favour of long-term outcomes. According to reflectd.co people with self control are happier. Zahra Harajli a volleyball player told me”our coach gets so mad at us when we lose to another school, she will get so mad but then she will make us work harder and expect us to do better at the next game. Studies show that sports coaches are usually the ones who lose their temper faster. Does going off make the team stronger or weaker? I makes us stronger because we are tempted to work harder Mohamed Jaffer replied. Zahra said it makes us stronger because we get scared of her and want to prove ourselves to her. Researchers who study self control often describe it as being like a muscle that gets fatigued with heavy use.
In conclusion everybody needs to learn how to control their temper. Self control is one of the most important things in life. If you lose control you will fall and if you learn self control you can master anything. So learn how to control yourself and you will have a better life.
