More than 1,000 people die each day due to the bombings, and radiated places in Jerusalem. Also,many people are dying this very second, due to no food, water, and shelter. In addition, the people of Jerusalem are not even allowed to pray in their own mosque (Masjid al Aqsa). I interviewed students from Unis Middle School, for their opinions, my results are quite interesting. People each day are starving and dying of dehydration. It’s sad that it has become a normal thing for the people of Palestine.
Ali Odeh, a student attending Unis Middle School, says, “It’s not fair for a country to attack another country with no weapons to fight back, and it’s even worse that the people of Palestine have no will to fight.”Ali also added,“I would feel sad because people in the united states have enough money to buy food for a pet, yet we can’t donate money to help people that are in need.” Ali included that he would feel very confused and sad for watching innocent people lose their lives for no reason. That is in just one village in Palestine, there are still thousands of villages that have the same problem.
Ameer Saleh a student at Unis Middle school, stated,“The fact of attacking a defenseless country is really sad.” Ameer replied,“It’s sad to even think about it, knowing that people are losing their lives over basic human rights, and knowing people in other countries have more food and water then they need, and not helping is even more sad.To wake up to sounds of gun shots is scary, it’s unbelievable that Palestinian kids are used to it. If I were in there shoes I would never go to sleep due to being paranoid.”
Dean Abusaleh, a Unis Middle School student who is from a dangerous part of Palestine (Bait Lahem), says,“If I couldn’t go to school due to a bomb threat I would be worried about my future and how successful I will be.” This “war” is affecting more than just the present, this is affecting the future of Palestinian kids. Dean also said, “I would be terrified if random people barged into my house without our consent, and wiped out my entire family for no reason other than being Muslim.”
These are problems Palestinian’s have to go through every day of their lives. How would you feel if you had to go though these problems every day without rest? It’s not fair that they are attacking another country with no weapons to fight back, and it’s even worse that the people of Palestine have no will to fight, because they hate violence, so they try to end the Israel occupation with protests and without violence.

I think Jerusalem will rise. These people shouldn’t be dying like this. They should be treated like everyone else. They shouldn’t be starving or thirsty, they should have everything that everyone has. They should have freedom and they should be able to pray in their own Mosque. It is not fair to attack a country like theirs while they have no weapons to fight back. So, I say everyone from poor to wealthy should be treated the same.

I came across this article and the title grabbed my attention like no other. You are however a bit repetitive at the point of which you’re saying they have no will to fight. Furthermore you didn’t follow up on your title, “Jerusalem Will Rise From Its Ashes” as in how, when, and why. Most of the article was you interviewing the students but not much writing of your own. It would’ve been nice have you put a little background information like when all this war started and what happened to the army of Palestine and so on. All in all it still seems like a fair article, good job.
I agree a lot that people of jerusalem have to encounter many hard things along the way of their life. I am from jerusalem and I could connect, because I am always get sad or mad that my people have to go through trouble every day. Israeli occupation has been harsh to people of palestine . My dream is to someday have world peace between all country all over the world. Many people have to go throw this same trouble, it hurts me to say but the only way to survive is to fight back.

I agree with the fact that people have enough money buying food to feed their pets but can’t donate anything to help feed starving people. Also, it is really sad to have to feel pressured to go and prey at your house of warship without having the feeling of it being bombed. It’s really depressing to think of all these people starving and have nothing while people are worried on what their next watch will be. Obviously charity funds aren’t helping much for the people of Palestine and we need to do something about it.
