Fun Week

We have so many fun things planned this week:

Monday: PTA Pizza Sale

PBIS Reward Party– Please wear your new Miller shirts on Thursday.  We will be having a petting farm and magician visit us, as well as our very own pumpkin patch.  Please encourage your child to have super behavior this week.  I would hate for them to miss our celebrations due to too many flips for the month of October

Boo Bash-Thursday evening from 5:00-6:30, come and enjoy the Halloween fun!  Students must have an adult with them to come to this fun, free event.  The PTA will also be selling snacks, so come hungry.  Everyone is welcome to come in a Halloween costume, too.  It should be a very fun night!

iReady Help

Some of the children have mentioned they are having a hard time logging on to  iReady at home.  Here is some information that may help:

Students will need to go to   They should log in with their account (user  If someone else  is logged in,  the Clever link will NOT work.  The other user must log off of Clever for another person to log in.  Once the student has logged in with their account, they can go to the Clever link and they will be able to access their I-Ready accounts.

I hope this helps!

Zoo Trip

Tomorrow we will be going to the Detroit Zoo.  Please have your children wear their Miller shirts if they have one.   Also, they will need to bring a lunch, including a drink.   It will be a fun, but chilly day, so make sure your child dresses for the cool weather.  We are all very excited about our trip and we want to give a big Thank You for the parents that will be joining us!  I appreciate your help! 🙂

This Week

We have some important things happening this week:

Monday: Pizza Sale

Thursday: Detroit Zoo Field Trip.  The children will need to bring a lunch, including a drink.

Friday: PTA Meeting at 9:00 and a half day.  The children will be dismissed at 11:45.

If you have not paid the $3 toward the new Miller shirts, please send it in as soon as possible.

Picture Day

Picture Day will be on Monday, October 15th.  We will be sending home order forms on Thursday the 11th.  Every child will have their picture taken for school records and the yearbook, but only the people purchasing a package will be bringing photos home.   Prices range from $17 to $40.

Miller T-shirts

Mr. Awada has ordered Miller T-shirts for every student at Miller School.  He will be paying for a large portion of each shirt, but is asking you to contribute $3 for your child’s shirt.  Notes will be coming home today that need to be completed with your child’s name and returned to school with the $3.    It really is great seeing our students all wearing their Miller shirts with pride.  It is also a great way to identify children on field trips.

Thanks for your support!
