WBPE First Composition of 2017!

WBPE First Composition of 2017!

Our WBPE members came together for the first rehearsal of 2017 inspired and ready to work! They sat down and immediately got to work creating two new pieces of music that are sure to be crowd pleasers!

Also, our drummers will be taking their composition, writing an original story to compliment the music, illustrate it, create a powerpoint, and present it at one of our concerts later this year. Miller drummers are doing great things!

Comic books and rubber bands
Climb into the treetop
Falling down and holding hands
Tricycles and Redpop
Pony rides and Sunday nights
Roller skates and yoyos
Fairy tales and snowball fights
Climbin’ through the window

Remember when you were a kid
Now part of you still is
And that’s why we make Faygo

Faygo remembers
Faygo remembers

Flying kites and funny shoes
Easter eggs with speckles
ABC’s and counting by two’s
Washing off the freckles
Kissing a hurt to make it stop
Startin’ school in September
So many things you almost forgot
Tryin’ to remember

Remember when you were a kid?
Well part of you still is
And that’s why we make Faygo

Faygo remembers (vamp and fade)

Please practice the Star Spangled Banner in the Key of G Major (Same as the video link)

Oh Say can you see, by the dawn’s early light
What so proudly we hailed, at the twilight’s last gleaming
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, through the perilous fight
O’er the ramparts we watched, were so galantly streaming
And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in air
Gave proof through the night, that our flag was still there
Oh say does that Star Spangled Banner yet wave?
O’er the land of the free, and the home of the brave.
